I used my fly buys points for mine and it makes dough for me a couple of times a day :) It's great for putting all the ingredients in before bed and setting the timer for it to be ready for when I need it the following morning (7:15) I can shape it, get son away to the school bus, let it rise and have it baked and cooled by lunchtime :)

The cascade one from the warehouse has been fine for me

A couple of people I know use the natural fermentation method of rising bread. They just use a bowl to rise it, the bench to mix it on, and a tin to cook it in.Much cheaper than a bread maker and no need to buy yeast

yes, the kmart ones are fine...couldnt ask for a better price than $39.
sure handmaking is ok for people with good fingers, but i have bad athritis and cannot handle the kneading. I have 3 breakmakers, all diff brands and they serve our family fantastic.......so many diff flavours you can make.
Never used self raising flour, had anyone else.....
