Do you have a can of soup? Creamy vege or chicken or mushroom or chic&sweetcorn or ...
These make a great base for casseroles.
Brown the drumsticks, place in casserole dish with diced onion, garlic, soup (or cream+water+mixed herbs+s&p) ... cook in a preheated oven at 180C for 1-11/2hrs ... take out and add froz veg ... cook for a further 30mins or until chicken & veg cooked through.

Serve with 'Mixed Mash'

Peel, chop & boil a mixture of potatoes, kumara, pumpkin & garlic together. Drain & mash with a large knob of butter & a splosh of milk. Season with salt & pepper to taste.

A simple casserole would be to brown the chicken drums in the bottom of the pot in a little oil then brown the onions and garlic chopped up then add some water maybe a cup or two water(stock is better if you have it or a stock cube or similar if you don't have that don't worry). simmer gently add kumara pumkin and potato peicesand simmer for 20 min then add frozen veg. taste and add salt and pepper to taste. Thicken with a heaped teaspoon of cornflour or even flour mixed with water into the simmering mix while stirring. There are more complicated ways to thicken but this is the easiest.

If you have fresh herbs or other spices add those to to your taste.
