Yep, boil them up in syrup and freeze. Your syrup can be anything from 1/2 cup sugar to 1 cup water, or cup for cup of each, depending on your taste buds.

i did them like this last year and put 1/2 of a vanilla pod in each bag i froze, its been handy too. Ive saved up enough jars to bottle them this year.
