hi have moved to a house with two lemon treesand tangelo etc , have tried making juice but turns really bitter in plastic jug , could this be because the acid has reacted to plastic jug? would also be interested in some recipies using lemons etcmany thanls

Are you sure you have two lemon trees. It is a bit early for tangelo the be ripe as well. They are a nice colour but have a wee while to go yet. You could have lime trees.

No amount of sugar will change the bitter flavour. If they taste nice before juicing then you need to look at the jug...
