Hi All. Recently I tried a cake that was called a Black Bottom cake. It was absolutely devine and contained cream cheese mixed with something else on top of the chocolate mud cake and then had a chocolate ganache on top of that and now im looking for the recipe! I can't seem to find it anywhere. . i have googled and its only come up with chocolate chips mixed with the cream cheese but im pretty sure that's not what I tried so if anyone has any recipes, I would be so grateful!

where did you try it as if it was a Cafe or Restaurant the NZ Womans Weekly do a thing where they ask a Cafe Or Restaurant for a recipe that a customers wants I think Taste Magazine does the same.

This is my most favourite reciepe I always get rave reviews when I make it.
BLACK BOTTOM TART
Mix 1
whole container of cream cheese, (no lite only the full fat one) 1 egg 1/3 c sugar pinch of salt 175g choc chips
Mix 2
1 c sugar 1 T vinegar 1 1/2 c flour 1 t baking soda 1 c water 1/4 c cocoa powder 1/2 c oil 1 t vanilla ess.
Put 2nd mix into tin. Place blobs of the 1st mix on top in blobs. Bake for 45 mins at 180. Serve cold.
You can add a ganache if you like but I just dust with icing sugar and serve with cream.
