Mung beans- how long do I soak them for and---

can they be added to meat stews as a filler? Are they like lentils and just disappear into teh juice so ant- bean hubbies won't know they are there?

I usually just give them a good wash with fresh running water then into boiling water for about a minute to 3 minutes depending how one likes them.

Imagine that they will not disappear in a stew but will be nice all the same especially with the stew juices, yep think it will be a very nice change.
