Melting Chocolate

Have just melted some choc buttons to put on a slice. Although it melts and goes on ok I find it breaks up when I go to cut. Even if I mark out while still softish it lifts. Any advice to make look more professional?

Try adding some cream while gently melting. This will make the end product less brittle and slightly creamy. . LOL. Not too much cream or it will be a real Gnash icing. Maybe a couple of tablespoons.

bit of kremelter also helps thin it so can cut easier.

You can add a bit of oil, and once it sets it'll be soft enough to cut.
Kremelta will set harder than oil. :)
