thanks so much 245sam i made the wholemeal caramel slice - but rather than using a slice tin i put it in a 20cm round tin. next time i will add some threaded coconut to the part of the base which you crumble over the cake. IT IS EXACTLY WHAT IWANTED. saves spending $4 a slice now! delicious.
