I remember you used to be able to get the custard pie that you could get at school during the eighties with the tinfoil tray i haven, t seen them for ages. I know that irvines used to have one at the supermarket, anyone seen them lately? They should be easy to make shouldn, t they?

still can buy them here, also the apricot and apple ones with the mock cream around the edge. sweet short pastry, custard and then nutmeg (i think) sprinkled on them. yummy.

I make a lovely custard pie like that. The apricot pies at school were always my favourite.
