The kind that has the chocolate base, caramel inside then chocolate base again then chocolate icing... ... ... ... . This is my daughters favourite... ... . need a change from the same old same old, boaring lunch box slices... ...

this is a caramel slice i used to make for cafe, slice base; 1 1/4 cups plain flour, 1/4 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup sugar, 150g melted butter combine all ingredients and press into a greased slice pan bake in 150 deg oven for about 15 mins, while this is baking make caramel, can of condensed milk, 2 tablespoons golden syrup, 1 tablespoon butter, put all in a pot bring to the boil over low heat stirring all the time, simmer for 5 mins stirring all the time, pour this over your biscuit base, bake for a further 20 mins, and when set ice with choc icing. Have not got a recipe for the one with 2 lots of choc as you have described, but you could try making another base and roll it out to put on top of the caramel and bake it.

have just been thinking, and to get the top layer perhaps cook 2 bases, line one of the tins with baking paper and after the 15 mins of cooking when you pour the caramel onto one, flip the one with the baking paper onto the top, and then bake for futher 20-25 mins.

or crumble the 'raw' second layer over the caramel and bake
