Sent hubby to buy a tin of red kidney beans, he's come home with haricot beans. Are they much of a muchness please?

Bump, sorry to do a bump, but I need to use these in a recipe I'm cooking for dinner. Just needing to know if they are fairy similar to red kidney beans?

Yes, they are similar. Haricot beans have a finer texture, and obviously a different colour, but they will be fine.

And they were, thank you davidt4. In fact I may use those instead of red kidney beans in future.
