Rosie, my question about the gluten free baking mix is re. a yummy-looking choc caramel slice. As soon as someone can give me an answer on the substitution question I can post the recipe!

base 4 oz butter 4oz sugar 1 egg 8 oz flour 2 Ts cocoa 1 ts baking powder
cream butter and sugaradd egg sift dry ingreadents into butter mix cook 150 fanbake 20 minutes
carmel 1 tin condence milk 3Ts golden syrup (sp) 30 g butter put all in bowl and give short bursts in microwave mix keep going untill it thickens
pour over base and return to oven for caramel to form a skin then ice with choc icing

I always double the caramel mixture... lol... never enough for me!
