I want to make a date loaf that uses SELF raising wholemeal flour. I only have plain wholemeal. What do I add to make it self raising? thanks

Baking powder; a good teaspoonful per cup of your wholemeal flour.

Don't forget to coat the dates with flour before they are added to the mix otherwise they will be at the bottom of the loaf
