I have some firm ripe mangoes and I thought this would be a nice way to cook them, or do you think they would fall apart?

bisloy, I recalled having seen a tomato tarte tatin being made and couldn't really think as to why a mango tarte tatin wouldn't 'work' so I Googled and found this:-
Thanks 245sam. I thought it would be the same as apples, but wondered what spices, if any, to put with it. Also wondered if someone had done it before .
