Does anyone have this fruit and what do they do with it. a huge green oval passionfruit type fruit

This is Passiflora quadrangularis - a lovely vine and great fruit.

http://www.edible.co.nz/fruits.php?fruitid=33 Of course it does not go black as lythande1 suggests - she thinks of the normal black NZ passion fruit. https://www.flickr.com/photos/juachon_organicfarming/3358105

It is also not the banana passionfruit (there are several varieties of that also ritebuy)

You can either let it ripen or you can use it unripe like a vegetable. Often cut up and cooked in curries!

Green means it's not ripe, the skin goes purple/black when ripe.

short attention span ?

No, this fruit is huge and it goes a lighter green when ripe. Apparently you can boil the flesh and eat it. oops, I got the name wrong. it is a Passionfruit - Giant Granadilla

that's a banana passion fruit not as sweet as the purple eat when it turns yellow or make jam

See other thread - these passionfruit that OP is talking about are huge. I am voting this one off, so maybe others will as well?
