Cookie Dough

I need to make some helicopter biscuits - i have the cutter but i cant find a good tasty recipe to use I tried the Annabel Langbein Butter biscuit recipe but it doesn't really suit being rolled out to press shapes out of.
Any one have any fail safe recipe i can use please.

Vanilla Biscuits
100 grams butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg ( white )
1/2 tsp vanilla ( sometimes I use 1 tsp )
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 & 1/2 cups flour

Mix butter & sugar until fluffy.
Separate egg and add egg white only & mix in.
Add flour, baking powder & vanilla and mix.
Form a dough, roll in to a ball and wrap in glad wrap.
Place in fridge for 5 mins.

Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter of choice.
Bake at 180C for 5 to 10 mins or until the edges turn brownish.
I make these on a regular basis and everyone enjoys them.
