Fresh Figs nom nom nom

There is a HUGE fig tree growing wild along a path that I take around the inner harbour. It is laden with fruit. Every day now I visit it to see if any are ripe but no, none yet. Some are getting close. Figs don't ripen once they are picked so I must be patient, and beat the birds to them lol

Oh yummy.
My baby fig tree has about a dozen on it & they are a long way off ready, probably because of drought conditions, although it has been getting VIP treatment.
Love them.
