I tried this yesterday . 1/4 cup white vinegar / 1/4 cup rubbing alcohol / 1 tablespoon cornflour / 2 cups water . anyone else used it and found it good? Windows ended up being a bit smudgy but maybe I didn't mix the Cornflour enough. Will have another 'try' today. Recipe does say Cornstarch instead of Cornflour but I don't think that would matter too much.

You're correct - that wouldn't "matter too much" - I'm guessing that the recipe was probably one from the US where what we know of as cornflour is known as cornstarch? :-))
