Venison please help

You might like to try these from A Good Spread cook book
400gr crushed pineapple (drained)
750 venison mince
1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1 small onion chopped
2 Tblsp soy sauce
2 Tblsp Tomato sauce
1 Tblsp oregano
2 eggs lightly beaten

Combine drained pineapple with other ingredients. Make into patties and fry, or place whole in greased loaf tin Bake loaf 180dC for 60min

Good minced venison I just make into patties and fry in butter, serve rare-ish with plenty of salt and pepper. Delicious on a burger or with veges and potatoes etc just like a steak you can also make mushroom sauces or red wine sauces etc .

When I get a deer I cut everything I can into steaks and mince the rest to eat this way.

Was it a Sika? if so lucky you, my favourite species. We were hunting in Red country last week but missed out so roast Goat for us :)

I use minced venison in the same way I use beef mince. I find it's nice mixed with beef and made into meat loaf too.
