Is there a way of extending a small quantity of icing sugar to make more icing for my slice... .

Instead of putting a thick icing on your slice, why not make it thinner and drop it in a zig-zag pattern from a spoon... looks good.

Thanks elliehen that is a great idea, in the meantime i found some cream cheese so extended with that and some grated lemon rind. .
