Help. I made an avocado dip before - followed a recipe using avocado, sour cream, lemon juice and chilli powder. But it is so bland - so what can I add to give it a bit of ommph? Thanks.

Also you can leave out the sour cream next time then the other flavors don't get drowned. .

I don't use the sour cream, I just mash the avo, add S & P to taste, lemon juice, 1 teasp onion powder, ½ teasp garlic flakes and add 1 tablesoon tahini and mix well. Sometimes I adda little chopped chilli or pinch of chilli flakes. I also use this as a spread or even as a base topping on pizza instead of tomato.
