Yum yum the fruit on my neighbours tree is HUGE they don't eat it so the birds and I (and any visitors I have) feast on them with their blessing. Never made jelly or jam however tons of recipes if you google.

Add Granny Smith apples chopped with skin on into quarters to the loquats when you cook them.Then strain through muslin and make as you would any jelly, cup of the liquid to a cup of sugar. Boil gently til it sets.
