I wonder if this is possible. My husband is lactose intolerant but loves icecream!

You can make a "frozen dessert" - however "Ice Cream" needs cream .

It is difficult to just sub coconut cream, so you need a recipe that is designed to make some sort of not too grainy frozen dessert.

Without cream to keep the water crystals at bay you might have to stir it several times while freezing. or buy a machine that stirs it for you.

Here is a recipe for "vegan" ice cream that includes eggs . ?

Elenas Pantry has a nice recipe too:

If you use frozen bananas in your recipe it would be an instant dessert without freezing. I usually make this when the Grandies come to stay, they love it in those waffle cones.

There is someone in USA making the 'best' vegan ice cream from oats.
You could google for a recipe. I quite like So Good ice cream, the vanilla and chocolate flavours are good. There are quite a few new brands on the market. I am not really much of an ice cream addict but worth a try.
