Pulled pork, how to ?

Keep hearing about it and one of the mums on school camp made it and I want more, lots more. Google but keep getting odd impractical recipes. Anybody got a basic recipe'?

Slow cook a shoulder of pork is all you need to do.

Oh, I certainly recommend THAT recipe - do it lots! The thing that fooled me the first time was "crushed red pepper flakes" . I tried a small pinch of chili flakes and same of paprika, and that was good, but it was even better when I found some freeze-dried red capsicum. but I missed the chili, so still add a pinch of that.

It's a quick and easy recipe, for sure. the crockpot does all the work, and the cider vinegar gives it a great tang.

I make my own cider vinegar (search for the easily-made recipe in the bar <---- up over there), so it's not an expensive ingredient

Exactly. Its just a long slow cooked roast where the meat practically falls away when "pulled" with a fork.

Mmmmm. just had that, with a roast of beef, at the weekend. Never any leftovers in our house!
