the ones in the cones. I can't find my recipe. how do I make them please? - Grand-daughters birthday on Saturday :)

thanks. but I think I have just realised it might be marshmallow? . oh heck, I haven't made these for around 10 years LOL.

arcane1315, how about the following which is from the former Trade Me Cooks?

" Marshallow Cones
Marshmallow recipe first. 1 1/2 cups caster sugar;1/2 cup cold water;4 tsp gelatine;1/2 cup hot water;1 tsp vanilla. Place sugar & cold water in a lge bowl and beat with electic mixer 3-4 mins.Dissolve gelatine in hot water and while still hot,add to sugar mixture. Beat until thick and white.Add vanilla.Spoon immediately into 15 icecream cones and sprinkle tops with 100's & 1000's.

Very pleased that I was able to help. Grandma/Nana (or what you're called) is going to be busy tonight if the birthday is tomorrow, or is it Saturday, in a weeks' time?

awww. thanks Sam :) . party is tomorrow, so will start those icecreams soon. Have the gingerbread men in the oven at the moment . I don't know who has more fun - me making the treats, or the kids eating them ;)

in bottom of the cone was always sherbet, so don't forget it. you could use fizzy pops.
