can you freeze cooked chicken that was bought frozen? had birthday party yesterday and we have lots of leftover chicken. chicken was frozen, defrosted and then cooked. thanks

I have but it doesn't always work - I find it better to turn the cooked chicken into something like pie filling and then freeze that - sometimes seems to get too much ice in it when you just freeze the cooked chicken

cheers. thinking I might shread it fine and freeze in small quantities for pizza topping, pasta sauce etc
