Mediterranean diet?

has anyone done this and how have you found it ?

There is really no such thing. The Greeks eat differently to the Italians, to the Cypriots etc. And in most Mediterranean countries , the food is different inland to that on the coast. The things they all have in common are local fresh foods, olive oil and red wine. Coastal people eat a little fish, inland, a little is lamb or pork but all eat a large amount of fresh vegetables daily and some grain product, whether it is pasta, rice or bread. There is also not a lot of dairy product in the diets. Apart from red wine, white for me, I've been eating like that for most of my life.
