Pavlova

Hi need a new recipe for a pavō . Had one what I had many years ago but now I have a very large oven and recipe has failed either to hot or it browns up and if I cook for one hour then turn oven off it would be very dark. Can any one help out please.

Sounds like the new oven is cooking a bit hotter, Id just do your normal recipe you have success with and cook at a lower temperature, trial and error till you get it right in a new oven.

Icing Sugar Pavlova

You will need boiling water.

*Put the first 4 ingredients into a mixing bowl and start beating*
6 egg whites,
3 Cups Icing Sugar,
2 teaspoons Cornflour,
2 teaspoons White Vinegar,
**add 2 Tablespoons Boiling water. ,
Beat 15 minutes
Pile onto a baking Paper lined oven tray
Cook for 5 minutes at 180 degrees C, then turn down and cook a further
1 1/2 hours at 100 degrees C.
(Leave in oven to cool)
