Thought I better check before I go ahead and do it, dont want to ruin Toadys brown rice salad which im making for tomorrows lunch. I bought some black rice awhile ago and its been sitting in the pantry ever since. Had a bit of a clean out and found it, need to use it up, you reckon it would be a good substitute for the brown rice. or not?

As long as you have plenty of colour going on. Black rice salad with mango and peanuts. Yum.

Its got red capsicum and pumpkin seeds. should look nice against that purply black

It was really yummy, quite nutty tasting. My sister was impressed with the black rice, wanted to know where to buy it. We were spoiled for choice though. 4 diff salads plus all other food, so I got to take some home and have it for lunch and dinner next day
