Brinks Tray Chicken - Cooking in its tray?

Hi all,

We have a Brinks Apricot Chicken Roast - Tray Chicken that came sealed in its own black plastic tray - is it safe to cook it in that tray!We used to get Tegal tray roast chickens years ago and cooked them in their plastic trays, but not too sure about this one!

Any help is sincerely appreciated.

No, I don't think so. I would say it is just for packaging only.

I have looked it up and no, it does say to cook in a baking dish.
