? Re storage home-made Tomato Sauce

Is it o.k. to store the sauce in heavy duty plastic bottles once cooled, and if so, does it "keep" o.k.(First time made so not sure.) Thanks for any answers.

For the one you have open and are using, it would be fine ( in the fridge) any others need to be in sterlised jars/bottles

I freeze my homemade tomato sauce in snaplock bags. Then thaw as needed and pour into a bottle.

To keep tomato sauce long term the jars/bottles also require secondary sterilization. Given you used plastic containers you can't do the secondary sterilization but you could freeze them.

There was another thread on this recently. I and several others posted that we had successfully stored homemade tomato sauce in plastic bottles - once opened, in the fridge of course.
