So we have ruhbarb not any berries but going to an "desert evening" this week need to think of what to take!

get some sheets of flakey pastry, have you ever made sausage rolls! well lay the sticks of rhubarb (uncooked) and roll up like a sausage roll, cut the tops and brush with egg and sprinkle with sugar, bake until golden, you can sprinkle them with icing sugar, and whipped cream. I use about 3 stalks per roll.
