Garlic seed heads - yummy

Thought I'd dry mine out this year and use them. Anyway, hung them up in a paper bag to dry, rain got to them so popped them in the oven at lowest temp till dry. They have a light puffed wheat texture and are delicious. Will be yummy on salads, pizza, soups and in breads etc. The wee stalks are tasty too.

Ive learn't something, never thought of drying the seed heads, usually have a good crop of garlic but not this year for some reason, will keep notes for next year thanks.

Obviously only works for serpent head garlic - not for the "normal" white sort.

I tend to grow those heads, so I do not have to keep so much of the useful cloves for seed next year LOL :)
