It is difficult to judge "tone" on the messageboard and you need to take care with cryptic posts if you want to get your real intent across.They can appear abrupt and challenging.

Uli - I missed the opening segment but then they all had to bake a foccaccia according to the expert judge's recipe. This was a blind judging. Then they had to create 2 different types of buns, sweet and/or savoury that were to sit in a bread basket (made of bread!) they had made. It was really interesting to see the basket designs. Some people had no idea how to construct a basket that was going to remain in one piece!

That's what they all did but some of them didn't have enough uprights and their baskets collapsed. Quite funny really.

Except they really made macarons, not what I understand macaroons to be which are coconut biscuity things. Some of them were so awful it could have been me making them! Great show though.
