Am having a small dinner party and would like to make individual desserts that are a bit posh! Any ideas will be gratefully accepted (and tried out!), thanks

I am going to do 3, on a plate twisting the old with new - so instead of a trifle I am doing a summer pud (bread and stone fruit pressed into a tin then sliced), with. vanilla icream with pistachio and apricot and I will try to quenelle it on the plate, Instead of a Pav I am doing a large eclair with cream and lemon curd stirred together inside it dusted with icing sugar, 3, Gelato served in a martini glass.

How about individual baked alaskas!A friend and I had these recently when we went out for a long lazy lunch on a weekend and they were divine.They also gave us a shot of limoncello with them to pour over . delish!
