Breadmaker error

Help! I have a wholemeal and seed loaf in my breadmaker and have just realised I have it on the normal bread setting which cooks for half an hour less than the wholemeal! Can I finish it off in the oven and if so, what temperature!

You may or may not be able to tell if it is undercooked just by looking at it, but before cutting it feel the bread all over and squeeze it gently, and if in doubt insert a skewer into the middle of it as you would a cake. Have your oven pre-heated @ 200'C so you're not waiting for it to heat up when your bread has finished the cycle in the breadmaker.

How long though has it been in the breadmaker! Yur post is 1:22 and it's now 1:38 - if it hasn't been in long I think I'd be inclined to re-set the breadmaker.

is it the cooking that takes longer, or the mixing. My breadmaker seems to sit for a long time before starting to mix when making wholemeal - I think it is for the w/meal flour to absorb some of the water

Cooking time is the same

correct - cooking time is same so OP need not concern this time.
