I would like to make some pickled onions for hubby but I don't have any glass jars can you store them in plastic containers!

I wouldn't.I keep all my jars from pasta sauce to jam jars etc

no, they must be in glass. pop into a op shop, they always have plenty of jar. briscoes and the red shed have nice tall ones, that i use.

Good idea I will check out 2nd hand shops. We moved at the beginning of the year so threw out alot of glass jars.
