I would like that recipe also.Didnt one of them say it was the best thing they had tasted in this series.

bedazzledjewels, Aug 18, 4:23am
245Sam seems good at hunting out these recipes. Please!

bedazzledjewels, Aug 18, 5:19am
I haven't got that recipe but here is a nice sounding Donna Hay one that can be used hot or cold as a salad.
Lemon & Garlic Roast Broccoli or Cauli - Donna Hay recipe.

Preheat oven to 180C.
Place 1kg of broccoli or cauli florets,
1 lemon cut into wedges
2T olive oil
8 unpeeled cloves of garlic
8 peeled eschallots
sea salt flakes
cracked black pepper
into a baking dish, toss and cook for 40 minutes or until they are browned and tender.
Can also be served as a salad.

Thanks for that bedazzledjewels but would like to find the one on TV, anyone else!

bedazzledjewels, Aug 18, 11:44pm
I suspect that because it was a dish that they made up on the spot, that there aren't recipes as such for any of the immunity challenges.

Hope it's a nicer recipe than her terrible tasting pavlova

bedazzledjewels, Aug 19, 8:45pm
Haven't tried it yet Rain.

Thanks for the compliment, beddazzledjewels.
I have been away since Friday morning until late this afternoon, so didn't see this thread until a few minutes ago.I have looked but sadly, without success - sorry I can't help on this occasion.:-))

dixiechicks, Aug 20, 6:50am
Thanks 245sam, was hopeful you'd be able to help :-(

As I had no success here, my last resort was to email the chef directly, Daniel Wilson from Huxtable Restaurant in Melbourne was happy to oblige

Roasted Cauliflower, Raisin, Almond & Preserved Lemon Salad

1 cauliflower, cut into olive sized florets
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup flaked almonds, toasted
1/2 preserved lemon, zest only, finely diced
4 sprigs mint, torn into small pieces
1 long red chilli, seeded and finely sliced
75ml extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
salt and pepper to taste
drizzle pomegranate molasses

Heat a large non stick frypan on a medium flame and add the butter, then the cauliflower.Cook over medium heat until the cauliflower has a golden colour and is just starting to soften, take out of pan and set aside to cool down.
Toss all of the ingredients together just before serving except the pomegranate molasses.
Place in a suitable serving dish and drizzle with the pomegranate molasses

Enjoy!

Oh wow Dixie - you're a saint. Thanks so much.

davidt4, Aug 21, 12:08am
Just a word of caution for anyone who isn't familiar with pomegranate molasses - it is extremely strong and intensely flavoured, so don't overdo it.A bare teaspoonful is probably enough for this salad.

What happened in the episode when Tregan was eligible for immunity! My recorder failed just as the Huxtable team began to cook.

dixiechicks, Aug 21, 3:06am
You can watch it on demand

bedazzledjewels, Aug 21, 3:10am
Tregan's team got in a bit of a tizz and, while they produced a good entree, didn't make the grade overall.
