A friend's son spilt a 2 litre bottle of milk in her car. We have tried baking soda, white vinegar and vanilla essence to get rid of smell - none have worked. What's next please!

Praying! Thishappened to me and it took ages to fully get rid of it.What did help slightly was that I used a spray pet odor deodorant and it did lessen it.I also swamped it with water and left the doors open (with the interior light off) as much as I could.

My approach would be a rug doctor with the upholstery attachment. And after that half a bottle of febreeze.

One more.in the USA people get the smell of skunk off their car tyres with tomato juice.
