Beef stew recipes please

pref without wine as i dont have any
what i do have is stock, beef, tomatoe paste, potatoe, kumara, carrot, beer and will go to new world before i start

chop 2 onions,
dice 1 kilo beef [I prefer skirt steak for slow cooking/casserole], use more to make enough to freeze
tablespoon beef stock powder
teaspoon malt vinegar [tenderises]
cover just with water
cook 1 hour at 180 in covered dish [use big one to add veges later]
add carrots, potatoes chopped, peas beans, parsnips, etc, tomatoes
cook 1 hour
thicken with 2 teaspoons cornflour mixed in a little water.If very watery, repeat.Salt and pepper to taste.Back in oven 10 - 30 mins.
options, add wine with the water, mushrooms, other root veges.
