I am baking a cake for my daughters birthday (im going to do a test run first of course), but i brought the deep dish pan by Wiltshire from the warehouse its 227x96mm.im wondering whether i need to double the recipe i have or one and a half it! Ill test it first before the actual day but thought someone else may have had experience with this pan! Thanks :)

what size tin does the cake suggest!

Depends whether you want it to fill the tin to the top or not - I use that pan quite a lot and just use a standard size cake recipe in it.

yes i would like it to rise to the top. I spose if i double the recipe i can always cut the top off if it goes over! Im not a pro cake baker i dont do them very often so feel free to tell me if thats a silly idea haha!

Do a search for Dana's chocolate cake on here (use the search on the left) because that fills the tin without doubling
