in a slow cooker? I was just wondering if you can roast, say, a chiken inslow cooker? and how do i do that? Do i just stick it in there? or do i need to do anything special?

yep i do all the time, i usually sit the meat on an upturned saucer although sometimes i just let it sit in it's own juices. If i do a chicken, i usually rub the skin with garlic salt and paprika, helps to give the chicken a nice colour

There are DOZENS of threads on this - use the SEARCH on the left sidebar. I do about 1 chook a week in the slow cooker. It's the only way to go.

The only way to cook any roast is slowly & in it's own juices. A quick way to brown & add flavour is a little soya sauce, or balsamic vinegar if the meat is fatty.
