We have a group that has dinner parties once or twice a year - and have done quite a few themes such as Masterchef, Italian, Japanese etc - Anyone got any great new ideas!/

We have one for work on the last Thursday of every month. The weirdest and hardest ones to think of so far has been the "Q" night -food or recipe beginning with Q.And we have "J" coming up this week.

The best we had was Jamie Oliver night - one of his recipes. YUM!

What about a pink night, ham,red cabbage slaw, dyed potatoes, cheerios, pink bubbles, pink pav, pink jelly, berries, pink tablecloth, Pink music playing
Or a green theme, make a pasta dish and dye the sauce etc

Another vote for a Bollywood night. Our group of friends (4 couples) do a themed dinner once every two months. We loved the Bollywood thing - we all dressed for the occasion and it was a resounding success! So good that everyone wants to go 'Bollywood' at least once a year.

edited to add.Mexican Night was fabulous as wasCocktails and Canapes night .Flappers flying everywhere and the Charleston was back in vogue!

Medieval, beach party, hawaiian theme, french. We had a night out recently, heres how it goes. Firstly you get a letter in the post, you are invited to Blah Blahs place, you must bring 2 ppl that are strangers to us, you are to bring this course (either starter, entree, main ordessert )
You are to dress in theme for your course, and do not tell anyone you are coming. Was fantastic, we had a great night

Mackenzie2, that sounds so good.Just wonder what was the reason for not telling anyone that you were coming.A good way to meet new folk.
