Skin side down, cover with thin slices of kiwi fruit, leave to marinate for 24 hours, cook for 5 hours.
Same with roasting, covered in tinfoil, rest for as long as was in oven
3.5-4.5 hours

This is how we do our home-kill pork roast:
Place one or two chunky chopped onions in slow cooker. Put frozen roast on top of onion. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add about a cup of chicken or vege stock and whatever fresh herbs you like.
Cook on low for eight or nine hours.
Remove and let rest for 20-30 minutes. While roast is resting I remove the "skin" and place under grill just prior to serving, to achieve a beautiful crackle!
Yum yum yum
Have just started cooking our home kill lamb like this as well - comes out so tender and tasty!

you don't add spices to wild pork.its the wild flavour you are trying to eat ffsbut the kiwi fruit sounds good

Hell yes, wish I could throw some more thumbs up on here, lol. Geez, you should have seen one time when someone poured tomato sauce all over the meat, boy I was bloody wild!. Just some things you don't do and that is one of them.
