Use the normal quantity.Double action refers to the trigger for the rising action.Sure to rise BP I was taught is essentially baking soda and cream of tartar.It fizzes when wet.Edmonds used to supply another BP called ACTO (I think it's still commercially available) with a phosphate base that required heat to release CO2 and make cakes rise.A double-acting bP will act with moisture and heat.
