Can you actually believe that 10, 11 and 12 year olds can actually cook like that unassisted!

Yes. My 5 year old is a keen cook. Obviously he still does have assistance, but will happily knead bread, mix cakes and cupcakes, measure most things. I don't think he will be junior master chef level by time he is 10 but I think it's possible with the right child with the right mindset.

Thanks for that bedazzled - I wanted to look for it but was scared I may discover who won the competition - I have so enjoyed this programme.
