still being half frozen! Took them out of the freezer at lunchtime and their still not fully defrosted:-(

If you haven't got a microwave i would suggest gently grill them until they are not raw in the middle and then cook, I have made a casserole with partly frozen pork and lived to tell the tale, in fact before all the scare campaigns about cooking from frozen we regularly ate chicken which was cooked from frozen and chose to eat roast beef cooked from frozen because the centre remained medium rare.The main thing is it has to be cooked thoroughly through before you consume it.

Please dont overcook pork. A little bit of pink is good otherwise will be dry and tough.Chef Gault says 3mins on each side and 3 mins rest.Try the NZ pork site http://www.facebook.com/#!/ExtraordinaryKitchen
