Hot chocolate with milk powder???

duckmoon, Feb 2, 1:17am
I have just purchased some delicious hot chocolate from Cafe L'Affaire... .

AND, I have just started working in an office, three days per week. I am the only one there regularly. I have realised that the milk consumption will be LOW LOW LOW. Even purchasing UTH milk in 250ml will be more than I use in a week.

My question: Can I make a hot chocolate using milk powder and will it taste any good? ? ?

I don't drink milk in my tea (but don't actually enjoy tea); so, it will be herbal tea if that doesn't work.

Hot chocolate mix

mix 2 cups dry milk powder 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup cocoa (good quality will give a better flavour) 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1/8 teaspoon salt together

other posters havent read that you have bought hot choc (not cocoa)mix!
one way is to try adding some milk powder - everyone has different tastes. Personally i find that the skim milk powder has a nicer taste than the others - and if you make it up as milk I think it tastes far better if it is chilled for 1hr before use.
