5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE! !
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract and your favourite tipple
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to your largest mug and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using), vanilla extract and a drop or two of your favourite tipple, then mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high).
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!

rarogal, that receipe makes about 4 mugs of choc cake! I find it also has too much oil and not enough milk. I would reduce the oil to 1 or 2T and increase the milk by 1 or 2T. Then when I cook it I put it into a measuring jug and even then it rises way over the top of it... .

Thats the 5 minute chocolate cake recipe we use and haven't found the need to decrease or increase liquids. Yep we use a really deep pudding bowl to cook it in but it feeds 4 of us quickly and cheaply.
