I use a whole butter cup round green pumpkin. Skin it and cut into smallish sized cubes. Put into a pot with 1 large onion and I sometimes put a few florrets of brocoli in. Bring to boil and simmer till cooked through. If too much water remains then drain some off but leave enough in to make is a sloppy mixture when mashed. I mash with salt and pepper with a little butter. I use my stick blender in the pot to get to a nice smooth consistancy. Add milk to thin down to the consistancy you like.Omg this is too die for.SO EASY.
